Naomi is at Kasisi with her brother. The children are from Rwanda but fled to Zambia from Congo along with their mother, who loves them very much and visits often. The woman is doing everything she can to provide a good life for her children. She is working and learning English and hopes that she will be able to get her children back as soon as her situation improves.

JANUARY 2023

We are trying to get the girl and her brother taken away by their mother. The woman refuses, saying she is homeless. However, we know that this is not true. She got married some time ago and is doing very well.

JULY 2022

She is very helpful with housework. She is keen to be involved in looking after younger children. She is in the fourth grade. She has made progress in reading.

JUNE 2021

She is in the third grade. She is helpful (especially likes sweeping the dining room), rather quiet and shy. She has a very good appetite.

MAY 2019

She's in the first grade. Her mother visits her often. As soon as her situation gets better, she is planning to take the children.
