Visits of the parents of children who are in Kasisi is always a touching moment. Should poverty be the reason of separation of siblings or children with their Mom?
The mother of the all six children is homeless, she lives with the people for whom she cleans and makes a laundry. This brave woman asked the Sisters for help, and now the situation seems to be that all of her children are in Kasisi, where they have got everything they need for their lives. Her the oldest daughter, Alice is with her mother (of course we pay for her school, food, etc). Mom visits the children really whenever it is possible and when her work allows her to do it, it is obvious that they have a very good relationship. Of course, she has the full of parental rights to her children, she is just very, very poor. And we're glad we can help her. We and the Sister have proposed the Mom of those children (the first person on our side) that we would rent her a house in Lusaka, in Chelston, in order to provide her own place to live with her the youngest children (twins Boaza and Barbara), they aren't going to school yet (because the rest of her children go to the Kasisian's university :) She will be able to enjoy the company of her children as well as they will enjoy her company, without worrying about whether the customers of any of her further work will allow them to be together or not.
Of course - if Mom agrees - we will do it owing to You, those who have decided to take care of this whole group in our programme the Adoption of Heart! :)
ADOPT THESE CHILDREN!
