Could these really be the same children? It’s hard to believe how much they’ve grown. The babies we visited four months ago, who then only lay in their cribs, eating and sleeping, are now sitting up, smiling, and soaking up the world with curiosity. Those who were just learning to sit are now taking their first steps, exploring everything they come across. A few new children have also found a Home with us — we’ll introduce them to you soon.
And speaking of changes, there have been real “migrations” here! A few children, under Thomas’s guidance, decided to move from the Yard to Bakita. Seeing how well they adapted to the new space, the Sisters waived the usual rules and allowed them to “grow up” faster than Kasisi normally allows.
A lot has changed. But one thing remains constant and most important: care, love, and safety. Always beyond measure!

A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
