As I sit down to write to you this Christmas season, my heart is full of gratitude. Life at Kasisi never stands still — each day brings new smiles, new challenges, and new miracles. After more than three decades at Kasisi, I am still deeply moved by the privilege of accompanying these children on their journey. Time and again, they remind me that hope grows when it is nurtured with love.

Over the past year, our children have shown extraordinary strength. Some came to us frightened and quiet, uncertain of their future. Today, those same children run across the yard, sing in our chapel, or proudly show off their schoolwork. Their transformation is no accident; it is the fruit of a community built on compassion and faith.

At the Kasisi Children’s Home, we have always believed that love heals. It’s a simple truth, but a powerful one. Our mission has never been only to meet basic needs; our goal has been to create a place where every child truly feels at home — a place where they can discover who they are, dream freely, and be reminded every day that they are loved by God and by all of us who care for them.

This year, we have continued to focus not only on physical care but also on education, emotional support, and the long-term well-being of each child. Whether preparing older children for adulthood or providing essential medical care to our little ones, we remain committed to their full, holistic development.
