While we are trying to escape the blazing heat, the residents of Kasisi are pulling on their hats and hoods. It’s the peak of the African winter here! July and August are the coldest months, with nighttime temperatures dropping to a maximum of 10 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, our children are bravely resisting infections. The stubborn virus we dealt with last month has also been contained. The children’s spirits and boundless energy haven’t left with the warm temperatures. At Kasisi, we always have plenty of those. The cold outside is just an excuse to run faster and play harder on the playground
