LOVE BUTTON: THE STORY OF LONG-DISTANCE ADOPTION

Date added: 20.03.2024

“Some might think: what’s the big deal about choosing a child, clicking a button, transferring money, and then calling yourself a long-distance mom to boast about it to your friends? It seems like nothing big or difficult, yet I found myself opening the Kasisi page and then closing it, as if I wasn’t ready for it yet. I wasn’t ready to let this tiny missing piece into my heart, into my life. A piece that would take a special place in my heart, in our Family. One I would care about, think about, miss, and LOVE. I can’t explain it, but a few days ago, I felt that it was the time. I opened your Foundation;s website and saw the ‘Urgent adoption’ sign next to… the eyes of little 6-month-old Ruth. And she was that tiny piece that immediately filled my heart. I don’t need anything else.

My sons also fell in love with the little one and they don’t talk about anybody else. We pray for her happiness, for her mother to recover and come back for her, and if that never happens, we deeply hope that the money we send will help her in the future, that she will grow into a wonderful woman fulfilling her dreams because she has the best care in the world. Thank you for taking her in. I will be grateful for that for the rest of my life. We will always think of little Ruth. She is now part of our family.” – wrote Mrs. Marlena

Every day, we receive many messages from you. Seeing how much you engage in long‑distance adoption, we have no doubt that it works both ways – by giving your love, you receive even more in return. Despite the distance, you are always with our children in your hearts, for which we are very grateful❤️
