Abraham was brought to Kasisi by his older sister, herself living in difficult conditions with her husband. After the death of his mother they were not able to take care of such a little baby. The father had never been seen. Abraham’s sister found out that there is a place that gives every child love, security and childhood. Simply put, a HOME. Without hesitating for a moment, she set off with her brother on a journey of several hundred kilometres to Kasisi.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
