All you have to do is make a commitment to offer monthly material support to a child. So many children at Kasisi are desperately waiting for someone to welcome them into their heart and surround them with love and care – will you be that person?
FAQ
Money given to a particular child is pooled into Kasisi’s shared budget and is allocated based on need. The funds from the project provide the children with their basic needs, schooling and health care. The funds also allow for building upkeep, maintaining a happy, healthy environment for learning and rest.
Every person who has adopted a child is welcome to be in contact by writing letters. Just send a letter with the child’s name on the envelope to the Foundation’s mailing address. Include a self-addressed envelope so your adoptive child will be able to send a letter back. Of course, it is entirely up to the child whether they choose to reply to your message.
Other than letters and small items that we can ship without incurring additional costs, we do not accept material gifts. Our organization encourages adoptive families to show their support financially. Most of the things that our children need can be bought locally. We would rather see the money spent on shipping added to our budget pool. Moreover, purchases made in Africa support the local economy.
