Not everyone has a long weekend with time off from school. The kids from Kasisi aren’t even thinking about a day off today. They are only now slowly coming back from school. The inflatable reindeer didn’t have time off today either. Some of them simply collapsed after today’s fun and games with the babies, and it seems that some of them have left us for good. But forget the reindeer! The most important thing is that the children of Kasisi have the energy to learn, play, break things and to create! This is what childhood is all about, and it is only here that childhood has flourished for them.
In order not to run out of energy, we need to keep refuelling. If you haven’t dropped by the Pantry yet, do it now. It will only take a moment, and we will be showing you the results in the form of bright minds full of ideas for a long time.
We hope that Christopher’s death, which was an unexpected tragic event for the whole Kasisi, will kick off a chain reaction of good. Because of this, we started the Christopher Sakala Fund. With this fund, we support children being treated on the oncological ward at the hospital in Lusaka.
