It was a difficult day for Kasisi – full of tears and goodbyes.
Our Kasia, a specialist in special pedagogy, has just returned to Poland. The children loved Kasia’s classes and it is no wonder – Kasia worked real miracles at the Home in Kasisi, teaching our most challenging charges skills that will help them to live independently.
Kasia, we want to thank you for your enormous contribution to the lives of the children at Kasisi. For all the patient hours teaching reading, counting and for the chance you gave the children who needed your uplifting belief in their abilities. For the daily, individual therapies with the children and the tiny steps that are milestones in the development of Kasisi’s charges.
It is said that true heroes live in the hearts of young children fighting great battles. Thank you, Kasia, for sharing your knowledge and heart with the children throughout this year!
Knowledge holds a special place in Kasisi, but acquiring it is challenging in the face of a raging dollar exchange rate.
