This charming boy is Wisdom. He was brought to Kasisi a few months ago by his dad, who never showed up again. And although Wisdom is only two years old, he has already learnt what rejection and pain are. The boy suffers from cerebral palsy. We immediately told the little one that this was his HOME, that we loved him and had been waiting for him.
Having decided to go his own way, Wisdom’s dad made the right decision – Kasisi is a unique home also for children with disabilities. For them it is not only a chance for salvation and survival, but also the possibility for development and access to specialized help tailored to their needs. Wisdom’s regular physiotherapy sessions are starting to show their first results. Today, while holding on to something, the boy is able to stand up by himself.
Adoptions from the Heart is exactly for the purpose of bringing him true friends in this world, which has not been welcoming to Wisdom so far. Those who, no matter where they are, will be ready to give him the best gift – a family for today and for his entire future, which from now on is going to look completely different.
