The summer holidays are over! Kasisi has set off for school. Those who are furthest away from their classrooms – and there are some who are several hundred kilometres away – set off yesterday at dawn.
As we wrote a few days ago, Kasisi can lack for many things, but for education never. Hence our request for all of us to help prepare school kits. It is not too late yet. It is true that everyone has left for school properly equipped, but the gap in the household budget after shopping for 124 pupils, paying school fees and transport, must be filled quickly. We need to do it now, so that we don’t run out of money for groceries and medical treatment, should anyone suddenly need it.
Become fathers and mothers of success today by supporting our students in their return to school and cheer them on strongly. Any minute now, they will be showing off their beautiful certificates to you!
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
