And Lucky showed that nothing is impossible. In the beginning, he moved around using his arms, dragging his legs behind him. We thought that was the end of it, that he would stay with his face towards the ground for the rest of his life. One day he stood by the walker and moved. Today, he needs the hand of a friend.
We are bursting with pride. And we would like to thank you for every hand that you extend towards Lucky, thanks to which the boy has the opportunity for daily rehabilitation. We really are changing the lives of the children in Kasisi.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
