The new school year is fast approaching Kasisi, and some little Kasisians will be going to school for the first time.
Learning to read, write, solve their first maths problems – we know they can cope with any challenge with your help!
Sister Mariola always tells the children, “You have been given an opportunity like James, Eva or Tamara. If you commit yourself, you will achieve everything you dream of, but the decision is always yours.”
By donating a school kit, you are making this decision easier for them. And, most importantly, you are changing these children’s world into one that is full of open doors and open parental arms. School kits include notebooks so that children can also study at home. It also contains their own pair of shoes, which, if it were not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. Finally, there is a delicious, healthy sandwich in their backpack to give them the strength to study hard. Exactly the kind of sandwich their mother would have prepared. Just the sort of sandwich you can pack into their rucksack from here – from Poland – today.
We are not urging you to fund an entire backpack of teaching aids – donate the equivalent of one notebook, school meal or textbook. Open the door to the future for children who are about to go to school for the first time!
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
