Kasisi’s doors don’t close at Christmas – the kids come back from boarding schools and the adults come to hug the Sisters and have at least a quick chat with them. This is their family home and they are always welcome here.
Some became independent a few, others a dozen years ago. And even though so much time has passed, they keep coming back – because this is the place that gave them solid foundations, where they could grow up in safety and love. This is where they left a part of themselves. This is where their Auntie is.
Recently, HOPE was visited by fantastic women who grew up in Kasisi 20 years ago! They are helping to prepare for Christmas, but support is still very much needed. We need your commitment! Will you help us fill our Christmas tables with the children’s favourite treats?
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
