Amanda 16 l

Amanda has cerebral palsy, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life and continuously smiling. She is a beautiful soul trapped in an ailing body.

23

Blessing Mapalo 4 l

She was only three months old when her father brought her to Kasisi. She’s blind. At home, she has five siblings, two of whom are also blind. Bringing her to Kasisi, her father made the right decision. She won’t lack anything here, especially love.

92

Felix 8 l

Felix came under the care of our Sisters at Kasisi when his mother, overwhelmed by life’s challenges, realized she could no longer care for her sons. The separation from his mother was difficult for young Felix, but at Kasisi he found hope for a better tomorrow and real comfort.

19

Jacob 6 l

Jacob was found in an abandoned building just a few days after his birth. He requires continuous medical supervision due to significant health issues.

28

James 5 l

His mother left him in the hospital, assuring the staff she would return quickly. Unfortunately, that “quick return” never happened. No one came looking for him, and no one visited. Despite having to cope with cerebral palsy and occasional epileptic seizures, his health has gradually begun to improve.

42

Mable 14 l

She endured a very difficult childhood due to the cruelty of her father and stepmother. Her father was stripped of his parental rights, and Mable found herself in a safe place where she is no longer in danger – at Kasisi.

13

Moses 19 l

He came to Kasisi after his mother passed away. His father was very ill and asked the Sisters at Kasisi for help. Moses is also sick—he suffers from sickle cell anemia. After a stroke in 2023, he has difficulty walking but manages daily activities remarkably well.

10

Moses Samuel 14 l

He was abandoned on a street in Lusaka as a one-year-old child. He is blind, paralyzed, and deaf. The sisters regularly take him for exercises, but the therapies have not yet shown significant results. He really needs closeness; he feels touch and cuddling.

15

Patience 4 l

Patience is one of triplets. After the death of their father, the overwhelmed mother, facing daily responsibilities, made a painful but necessary decision. She decided to entrust her children to Kasisi’s care.

30

Tapiwa 12 l

Tapiwa was abandoned by her mother. Although she can only use one functional hand, Tapiwa excels in managing her daily tasks. She does not seek pity or special treatment.

Urgent help needed

Passport to the Future – Donate a School Starter Kit

A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
