Her story is sad, we don’t want to write about it. The most important thing is that nothing bad will happen to her in Kasisi, and she is becoming more and more trusting and open.
Anastasia is often ill. She is on medication. We are worried because lately we have had to persuade her to eat. Hardly anything triggers her appetite.
She already lives with the older girls. She is growing well, is calm and very polite. She doesn't cause any problems. Sometimes we would even like to write that she has been naughty, like every child, but not Anastasia: she likes to lead a truly peaceful life.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
