Banji came to Kasisi when she was only five months old. Her story is one of care and community solidarity. Her mother, struggling with mental health issues, couldn’t provide the necessary care and support. Thanks to the dedication of compassionate people from her village, Banji found her place at Kasisi. Despite the challenges that have accompanied her from the start, she radiates unwavering spirit and boundless joy for life.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
