David came to Kasisi together with his twin brother Robbson. They were about a week old when we adopted them at the HOME. The boys’ mum died during childbirth. The father could not afford to support the twins. After the death of his wife, he had to make the decision to give them up to the orphanage because he is unable to take care of the two tiny children on his own, nor can he afford milk to replace their mother’s breast milk. His extended family is unable to help.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
