He was abandoned by his mother, who suffered from a severe mental disorder. One day, the police brought him to us to ensure his care and safety. It was only later that we learned the woman had been arrested and imprisoned after abandoning Jonathan. We also discovered that she had another child, Arthur. While in prison, the boys’ mother asked us to take him into Kasisi as well. We agreed. Although their situation was difficult, we strive to provide them with the best possible living and developmental conditions, ensuring they grow up in a safe and loving home.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
