How am I doing?

JULY 2023
Moses is always full of joy and positive energy. He loves contact with other people and always lights up when someone takes a moment to hold his hand and talk to him. He is growing incredibly and gaining strength every day. Regular daily rehabilitation helps him to take the next small steps in his development. Moses is a true example of determination and perseverance, with which he inspires those who have the pleasure of working and spending time with him. With his openness to interacting with others and his enthusiasm for daily rehabilitation, Moses has the opportunity to continue to grow and enjoy new achievements.
JULY 2022

He is doing well. He likes the closeness of another person, but he is very sensitive to touch. Sometimes it is difficult to dress him because his whole body starts to stiffen. He has physiotherapy every day. He has not been ill for the past year.

JUNE 2021
He is blind and most likely cannot hear. He only reacts to touch. He goes to physiotherapy
MAY 2019
According to doctors, Moses cannot see or hear but he does respond to touch. He doesn't speak but he smiles a lot.
SEPTEMBER 2018
He's grown a lot but his condition hasn't improved much. He continues to do exercises daily and spend a lot of time in the fresh air. He is surrounded by loving and caring friends who enjoy taking him on walks.
OCTOBER 2017
His condition remains unchanged. He continues to go to physiotherapy and do aquatic exercises. He's doesn't suffer from spastic paralysis as much as as he used to but otherwise hasn't experienced a huge improvement.
JUNE 2016
He does physical therapy twice a day but so far there hasn't been a big improvement. He is, however, more relaxed. He's received a new wheelchair.
JANUARY 2016
Samuel continues to do exercises twice a day. He feels well. His symptoms haven't dramatically improved but they also haven't gotten worse.
MAY 2015
He does physical therapy twice a day. One of the aunties is fully devoted to him and looks after him round-the-clock. Samuel has become a lot calmer and doesn't cry as much anymore but he still isn't fully responsive. He craves closeness, hugs and affection.

Cots for Kasisi

The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.

Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
