Tadiwa and her sisters Grace and Faith’s mother struggles with illness and unemployment, making it impossible for her to provide proper care and support for her children. When her health deteriorated to the point where long-term hospital treatment became necessary, she made the difficult decision to entrust her daughters to the Good Samaritans. They, in turn, sought assistance from social services, from which the siblings were directed to Kasisi. Now, surrounded by care, warmth, and love, the girls have found a safe haven. Kasisi has become their home. Despite being separated from their mother, they believe that once she regains her strength, they will be together again. The daily routine at Kasisi goes beyond just providing shelter and basic needs. We also care about our children’s health. Specially balanced meals, enriched with vitamins and electrolytes, are an important part of Tadiwa’s daily diet. All of this aims to strengthen her immunity and improve her overall health.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
