How am I doing?

JULY 2023
Her cheerful disposition and curiosity about the world are a source of inspiration to everyone around her. Tapiwa is an example of courage and perseverance, showing that physical obstacles are not insurmountable when you have the right attitude and support. With one able-bodied hand, Tapiwa not only copes with everyday tasks, but also proves that true strength comes from within. He seeks no mercy or special treatment. Although the daily rehabilitations are not yet bringing significant improvement, her determination and positive attitude still offer hope.
JULY 2022

She continues her education in a special class. She has problems with her hands. She goes to physiotherapy every day. She is very focused on her studies. We hope to be able to move her to a normal class in some time.

JUNE 2016
Tapiwa's right arm is still paralysed. According to her physiotherapist, Marco, it would be incredibly difficult for her to regain mobility. She has learned to live without her right arm and is doing well.
JUNE 2015
Tapiwa has learned to walk despite the paralysis on the right side of her body. Physiotherapists have managed to save her leg, enabling her to walk, but her arm most likely won't regain mobility.

Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
