Thomas stayed with his young mom at Mother Teresa’s center, dedicated to single mothers. It was a time full of uncertainty and changes for him, but also moments of warmth and care from his mother. However, fate was not kind – the woman suddenly disappeared from the center, leaving Thomas alone. The boy could no longer stay in that place, which was intended only for children accompanied by their mothers. He was brought to the care of our Sisters at Kasisi, who immediately gave him plenty of love and attention. Here, thanks to you, we care for his development every day.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
