The now five-month-old twins, Deborah and Daniel, were born prematurely. They did not receive proper care because their mother was seriously ill and no one in the family was able to help her. The children were neglected and starved, and the weakness was followed by tuberculosis. Today they weigh just 2.5 kilograms each.
We had to entrust them to hospital care, but we can’t wait for them to return to the Home – here, where the sisters, the aunties and, we know that from now on, you as well are waiting for them. Here every child receives love, care and security.
The twins have started to drink milk, so we are of good mind, but without your support we cannot do much. Please – help us save more little lives. Become adoptive parents to Deborah and Daniel or donate at least a bottle of therapeutic milk to help them through their most difficult days.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
