What better way to start tomorrow’s #GivingTuesday – where the whole world celebrates charity – than with the knowledge that, thanks to you, Blessing has a home where she will be surrounded by love, cared for and given everything she needs to thrive to her full potential? That so many people know about her, embrace her even from a distance and have decided to be her adoptive parents?
Three-month-old Blessing was recently brought to Kasisi by her dad. She is blind. At home, apart from the girl, there are five other siblings, two of whom, like Blessing, cannot see.
Sometimes it seems that there is a limit to the suffering a person can endure. But listening to the story of this family, it is clear that evil has decided to make itself known there in many ways. Little Blessing’s mother suffers from cancer. The doctors have just discharged her from hospital, without being able to do anything more for her… In such a difficult home situation little Blessing’s father was no longer able to take care of the little girl, who especially now requires special care. By bringing her to Kasisi, he made the right decision. We know that, thanks to the sisters and you, she will not be lacking anything, especially love.

The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
