Natasha (age 12) and Gabriel (age 7) have had a lot of difficult times. They have been with us for a few days. Now they are the ones who really need our care. Their safe, children’s world collapsed with the death of their mother. It was then that the smiles disappeared from their faces and were replaced by a sense of fear and rejection. Initially, the aunt was supposed to take care of the siblings, but she quickly changed her mind, handing them over to the father, who spends all his time out of the house looking for work. It’s time to change the faces of Natasha and Gabriel! Kasisi is already working on it, and you can help us achieve this goal. We firmly believe that when the new children of Kasisi see how large and powerful a brigade is ready to support and embrace them, here at the Home and over there on the other side of the equator, they will begin to trust and open up again. It will take time, for sure. But we also know that with you such transformations are possible. We have witnessed them so many times.

The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
