Sylvia is two months old and weighs just 2 kilos. The girl’s mother died and no one close to her wanted to take care of the baby. She came to us very neglected. We immediately admitted her to House of Hope and are helping her to fight a skin infection.
Grace is about 4 years old. We do not know exactly when she was born. She suffers from cerebral palsy and is blind. Her mother left her daughter with her grandmother and lives on the street. The grandmother was unable to provide adequate care for her granddaughter, so she took her to the social services, from where Grace came to us. The little girl is frightened. She doesn’t speak, doesn’t want to eat and cries all the time. We whisper in her ear that she will be fine here, that she is loved and safe.
These two little darlings have already experienced so much wrong in their lives. We want to show them that this chapter is now closed. Now they have a real home where they are important and loved. Show Sylvia and Grace that they are not alone. Invite them into your family today!
