Annie was born prematurely and with cerebral palsy. She weighed only 1.10 kg. Her mother, who was only sixteen, died in childbirth so her grandfather brought her to Kasisi. To this day, she requires ongoing medical and physical therapy. Whenever she seems sad, sister Mariola intervenes to lift her spirits.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
