Barbara arrived at Kasisi with her four siblings. The girl has a twin brother, Bowas. Her father, an alcoholic and drug addict, left the family. The mother who had been taking care of children so far has been left destitute. She is unable to support five children. Every Saturday, however, she visits her children, plays with them and talks. The sisters are very impressed with how close the children are, they spend all their free time together. Kasisi provided the children with a chance for healthy development.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
