The girl is in Kasisi together with her younger sister Asenati Chabu. They came to us because their dad couldn’t cope with the responsibilities of raising such young children after his wife had died. He is a security guard and works every night. Bupe and Asenati’s teenage sister had to drop out of school to look after her siblings. With the girls staying with us, their sister will be able to return to school.
The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
