Charles Mapalo never had a home, his own bed or even one toy before he came to Kasisi. He and his mother struggled, wandering the streets of Lusaka. He was abandoned at the market, and a concerned shop owner took him in until social services picked him up. That was where he was given the name Charles Mapalo, meaning blessings. He is as much a blessing in our life as we hope to be in his.

Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
